We love to have the missionaries in our home. They come once a week, usually on Wednesdays or Thursdays, to have dinner with us. I have always wanted to do a record of some kind keeping track of the missionaries who come through our ward and where they are from. This week we lost both of our elders. Elder Knudsen, an excellent and exceptional Elder in every way, completed his mission and went home yesterday. At this moment, he is waking up with his family for the first time after 2 years. We will miss him. Elder Knudsen is from Pochatello, ID.
His companion, who is transfering to another ward this morning, is from Gilbert, AZ. Cypress was his second area. He is a Cambodian language trained missionary. He was in a threesome companionship in his first area for 3 weeks. Then transfered here for 2 months. Now he is transfering back to a Cambodian branch in East Long Beach.
We will miss both of the elders.
